Extended Day
Harbour Pointe Preparatory Academy offers an Extended Day Program to provide safe, structured, and enriching care for students outside of regular school hours. Extended Day is designed to support working families while giving students opportunities to learn, play, and grow in a positive environment.
Program Overview
- Before School Care: Opens at 6:30am and runs to 7:45am each school day. Students can complete homework, read, or participate in quiet morning activities before classes begin.
- After School Care: Runs from 3:00pm until 6:00pm. The program includes homework help, snack, supervised recreation, and enrichment activities.
Daily Activities May Include
- Homework support and academic assistance
- Arts & crafts, music, and creative projects
- Indoor and outdoor games
- STEM and hands-on activities
- Leadership and teamwork challenges
Enrollment & Fees
- Enrollment is open to all Harbour Pointe Preparatory Academy students on a full-time or part-time basis.
- There will be no cap limit on the number of students and no waitlist.
- Program fees will cover staffing, materials, and snacks.
- A registration packet with current rates and policies will be available in August.
Safety & Supervision
- Extended Day is supervised by trained staff members who ensure a safe and structured environment.
- All program staff follow the same safety, security, and behavior expectations as during the regular school day.
