At Harbour Pointe Preparatory Academy, we believe every student deserves access to opportunities that support learning, growth, and leadership. Beyond the core curriculum, we offer a range of programs and services designed to meet the diverse academic, social, and personal needs of our students.


Academic Support & Enrichment

  • Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS): Targeted small-group instruction and interventions help students who need extra support, while enrichment pathways challenge advanced learners.
  • Tutoring & Homework Help: Additional time and guidance are available to reinforce skills and boost confidence.
  • Accelerated & Advanced Coursework: Middle school students may access high school–level classes (such as Algebra I) to prepare for advanced academic pathways.

Student Services

  • Special Education (ESE): Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) provide specialized instruction and services to meet the needs of students with disabilities, in compliance with IDEA.
  • Section 504 Plans: Accommodations ensure equitable access for students with qualifying needs.
  • English Language Learners (ELL): Instructional supports and language development services help multilingual learners achieve academic success.
  • Counseling & Guidance: School counselors support academic planning, personal growth, and social-emotional well-being.

Enrichment Programs

  • Athletics: Flag football, basketball, soccer, and other team sports teach skills, teamwork, and healthy competition.
  • Performing & Visual Arts: Opportunities in music, art, and drama nurture creativity and self-expression.
  • STEM & Technology: Robotics, coding, and makerspace projects spark innovation and problem-solving.
  • Clubs & Leadership: Students can explore interests and build leadership through service clubs, student council, and special-interest groups.

Family & Community Engagement

  • Parent Workshops & Family Nights: Events that build connections between school and home while providing resources for families.
  • Community Partnerships: Collaborations with local organizations bring real-world experiences into the classroom and extend learning beyond the school walls.
  • Volunteer Opportunities: Families are encouraged to take part in school life through volunteering, mentoring, and supporting special projects.

Health & Wellness

  • Health & PE: Regular physical education promotes fitness, teamwork, and resilience.
  • School Health Services: Basic health screenings and support for student wellness are provided in partnership with local providers.
  • Social-Emotional Learning (SEL): Daily practices build self-awareness, empathy, and responsible decision-making.
