Enroll at Harbour Pointe Preparatory Academy
We’re excited that you’re considering Harbour Pointe Preparatory Academy for your child’s education! As a public charter school, we are tuition-free, open to all students, and committed to providing high-quality academics in a safe and supportive environment. Enrollment is open to any school-age student eligible to attend grades K-8, per the Duval County Student Progression Plan. We do not require entrance exams, interviews, or tuition fees.
* Harbour Pointe is an application and lottery school.
* Re-enrollment numbers will determine open seats for the following school year.
* Siblings of currently enrolled HPPA students and staff children have preference. After placing these students, the remaining seats will be offered to the public.
How to Apply
- Complete an Enrollment Application
- Applications are available online at SchoolMint
- Each student must have a separate application.
- Lottery
- Families will be notified of lottery results and will have 7 days to reserve student seat.
- If applications exceed available seats, state law requires us to hold a random lottery to ensure fairness.
- Registration
- Once seat has been reserved, families must complete registration paperwork by the stated deadline to secure the seat.
- Submit Required Documents
- Birth certificate (or acceptable proof of age)
- Proof of residency (utility bill, lease, or mortgage statement)
- Immunization and health records
- Any prior school records (if applicable)
